Oven Spiced Pears



This was my breakfast.  I wanted to make something autumn-ish, with pears and fast.  I came up with this mouthwatering treat.  Ginger syrup is what I used in this recipe, but honey would work also.

Oven Spiced Pears with Creamy Yogurt
Makes 2 halves of a pear

1 pear (I used a red anjou, but any type would work)
dash of ground cardamom
dash of  ground cloves
dash of ground cinnamon
dash of ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons raisins
drizzle of ginger syrup or honey
plain yogurt to top (optional)

I like cheese.


From soft to hard, I like all of it.


Sharp bites to simple delights, I enjoy it all.


Paired with grapes and nuts or just plain, I like cheese.


Next time you go to the store, will you get me some cheese, please?
